Just a short little ditty I did in 2 hours for the November 2007 competition. I’m not super happy with it, but alas I lack time to polish it further.

This one was written for the November music competition… When I was writing it, I envisioned a scenario in which a character became trapped in a frozen room in an ice-bound cave, feeling completely desolate and alone. Though, eventually, he finds that the cave holds many mysteries, and that he isn’t quite alone after all… I think this would work pretty well as a theme for a quiet icy cave.

For the november 2007 Competition, this song is about

Written as a war theme…Soldiers walking along the lines of the dead after battle.

A piece for heros/soliders marching to the end of the line after battle.

A new big album project I’m working on that focuses on oriental influences. As usual I focus my album around a story, so this one will be fun to compose till the last theme. It is not exaggeratingly oriental, but very few hints, I believe, but I would like you to be the judge. :)

Silent Imagery : Memories Unforgotten boasts a next set of Orchestral driven piano pieces, and the Conflict stands as a strong example of classically filled dynamics, fierce-to-gentle-to-hesitant mood shifts and notheless – all what Shizu has to offer.

A classical piece with an emotive influence. The song reflects upon the final resolution of a person’s, or possibly a group’s, journey which ends reflecting upon the past events.

This is entered for the 2007 March Competition. What I was going for this one was a sort of tranquil song, an effect similar to that which was used in Chrono Cross during certain battles with old friends. I tried to create a nostalgic atmosphere, so that it would be focused more on the pain and juxtaposition of battling an old friend and what a great friendship it could’ve been instead of the enmity between you two
