I wrote this song last year and was planning on submitting it then, but I completely forgot about it. so here it is.

Serves as dark character/temple theme. I’ve been out of practice, so it’s a bit under par from my pre-military works.

This was my entry for OVGMC3 [Original Videogame Music Competition 3] back sometime in 2005. The theme was ”Enchanted Forest” so I set out to write such a piece featuring a lot of organic elements, only… enchanted. Meaning add distortion :D I think I created a very nice emotion here with this song, and it remains one of my best to this day. I forget the results of the compo though. Probably got 2nd to last as usual.

I haven’t made a piece of music in a loong time, so I’m kinda annoyed at myself. This is like a very small comeback for me :{P

This song was created initially back in 2005 for CompoST42 but now resides as track 4 on my first album, Supercats. If it gets accepted I’ll link to the full album somewhere on Sakari’s internets.

It has been a while since I submitted anything. This is a new piece that I wrote with an opening scene in mind. It can be used for darker scenes but I don’t think it would be that good to loop.

Written for February 2008’s Contest. This piece was meant to be a theme for an arch-villain’s lair, a walking, living castle with all sorts of morbid things contained within. The walls of this theoretical castle are covered in human skeletons, and the floor is crawling with all sorts of malicious beasties. I meant for this to have sort of a feeling of a final dungeon of sorts, and I wanted it to feel pretty epic too, and I think I succeeded. This is also meant to loop.

This is a one-hour-compotune I wrote, where I started composing immediately after playing Mega Turrican. So this is my take on Chris Huelsbeck’s awesome style. Also, I used VOPM for the synths and lofimat on the drums to give it the Sega Megadrive sound. A bit short but so are most chiptunes, plus it was made in an hour [okay well more like 45 minutes]. Enjoy!

It’s a battle theme that would fit a jungle/ruins/tribal type scenario.
