The songs range from chill out lounge music to soft, easy-listening piano, and include both newer and older piano pieces.

The inspiration behind this album was, of course, the journey of a small white bird. However, what many people may not have caught was that it wasn’t literally about this white bird, though a lot of the inspiration came from the idea. The white bird is symbolic for any given person who starts out small on a journey through this large world. This album is about the experiences that person has, from nervously but bravely starting their journey, to meeting new friends, to seeing great scenes, to arriving back home.

This album is short based on number of songs, but still contains nearly an hour of music. So as always, enjoy!

NOTE: 2 tracks that aren’t included below, and only available through the album download, are Sleeping Giants and Distant Lands. These bonus tracks are not publicly available as individual downloads.

Part of the White Bird album. This piece represents our bird flying slowly and alone at night, after taking a short break. Imagine a small bird alone in a cool, moon-lit sky; a silver cloud or two in the sky.

Instruments Used:
Percussion, 2 pianos, e.piano, bass, light strings, high electric bass (you’ll see), a brief synth flute, and vocals.

Inspiration:
My imagination + Dove shampoo. (I never get tired of saying that).

This is a little happy piece meant for forest village or something of the sort. The melodies are a bit unconventional, but thats kinda the premise of the piece.

Inspiration:
I actually came up with the general idea for this piece while messing around with the layer/split settings on a keyboard in my college’s piano lab.

This is just a little world map/adventure theme I made. I may make a longer version in the future, as it is intend to have a couple couple more breakdowns and be about twice the length. But! This version is find how it is in my opinion.
I’m not to happy with the way the Flute and Trumpet sound though, so I may try some more “synth” like instruments in their place. bah, everything sounds better as a midi.

Steel string guitar, Flute, Trumpet, Strings, Acoustic bass, drums.

Inspiration:
Nothing imparticular actually. I could think of anything to compose so I just played around with rhythmic ideas and chord progressions, thus it was born. Though it does remind me of Wild Arms or Earthbound.. kinda.
