Okay, Imagine a 50′s town, steam rising out of the sewers, the sound of old vintage cars driving past. An ocassional sound of gunfire, and sirens. Everywhere there’s either gunmen, drug dealers, druggies, or pimps.
Suddenly out of a dark alley, a guy in a fedora and a trenchcoat walks out; an old P.I.
As the sax kicks in, he’s smoking a cigarette
walking down the street
at the end, he’s confronted by a gunman
and he gets shot
Thus the flatlining.

First I want to say that I like this a lot. I think it’s pretty well put together, though some parts sound like there is too much going on and like around :55 and 1:07. though brief those moments throw the song off for me.
Also the song seems too modern, maybe it’s the beat? But I don’t picture a scene from the 50s. I still see the city, But in a more modern, gritty, contemporary sense.
Anyhow, nice work I am sure someone will have use for this in their game.

I agree with Seefour. This song is maybe a tad upbeat to make me think of a 50′s town song, and the Midi’s that it uses sound too futuristic. Great song but doesn’t make me think of it’s description.
