Description / Purpose: Part punk dance, part mental breakdown I was attempting to build a sense of learned helplessness here the hero is trying his best but the bad guy is just too bad… I would use as a desperate battle theme for a specific battle or boss. I also tried to fit in a 5/4 metal core breakdown toward the end while still maintaining the video game sound. I KNOW I KNOW. Why midi!? Well, I like the SNES sound and I tried my best to hide the GM texture.
Instruments Used: Strings, Synth Voice, Percussion, Melodic Toms, Xylophone, Harpsicord, Synth Bass, Acoustic Bass, Telephone, and Applause (For evil laugh)
Inspiration: Uematsu’s ”Birth of a God” from FF7. Wanting to write longer pieces and August Burns Red’s ”Back Burner” for the break down.
