The concept is basically this: at the beginning of the song, the ”hero” enters the ”villain’s” lair and a few words are exchanged. And then the song heats up and basically the hero and villain have some sort of epic battle. At the end the hero fails and is killed. That’s the concept basically.
I wrote this song last year and was planning on submitting it then, but I completely forgot about it. so here it is.
Serves as dark character/temple theme. I’ve been out of practice, so it’s a bit under par from my pre-military works.
This song is just a single of mine from 2006. I had a dark, demented, but at the same time cheesy villain character in my head while writing this.
This was my entry for OVGMC3 [Original Videogame Music Competition 3] back sometime in 2005. The theme was ”Enchanted Forest” so I set out to write such a piece featuring a lot of organic elements, only… enchanted. Meaning add distortion
I think I created a very nice emotion here with this song, and it remains one of my best to this day. I forget the results of the compo though. Probably got 2nd to last as usual.
This was my entry for ”CompoST 76: The Jungle [Take 2]”
This song is about jumping on clouds. Or it could be used for some crazy/beautiful game set in the future?
I wrote this with the intent of having it be used in a very intense story-related boss battle, but I suppose it could just as easily be used for a normal boss or a chase scene perhaps. It’s quite fast paced, and uses some articulations of instruments that I’ve never used before, like Col Legno on the bass section. It’s meant to loop as well.
