Description / Purpose: For the January 2008 Competition.
The piece is divided into sections, not proportionate to the story, but is representing different sections of the story. The sections are as follows:
”How many kinds…” – 0:00 – 0:11
(The first chord is the woman, the second chord is the man)
”I suppose there are…” – 0:11 – 0:28
”Shouldn’t there be…” – 0:28 – 0:41
”Once upon a time…” – 0:41 – 1:16
”However, before the appointed…” – 1:16 – 1:54
”Both had become the leaders…” – 1:54 – 2:50
”And so the boy inserted a knife…” – 2:50 – 2:54
”He guessed she just got tired…” – 2:54 – 3:18
”Yet it was too late…” – 3:19 – 3:48
”You’re right as always…” – 3:49 – 3:53
