Empyrean tells the story of two magic researchers on a quest to the depleted resources that once made their world beautiful. As of now, they live in a barren, desolate, and isolated desert trade city. After going against the orders of their governor, they venture outside the walls of their city, Desant and find the magical world of Empyrean.
The albums uses a large accumulation of woodwinds to express a soft fantasy world. Accompanied by strings that make an atmosphere of mystery, the Empyrean OST takes you on a semi-epic quest expressed simply through the sounds of its music.
