This piece uses a strings orchestra including two solo violins, a solo viola, a solo cello, and a strings section backing it. The piece also uses a percussive section that creates an almost "tribal" feeling. The piece is fast-paced, but not so much that it loses its purpose.

Speaking of purpose, this was done as a request. The theme was a "romantic battle", but when I thought about that, I thought about situational battles where Romeo is fighting for Juliette (for example). The battle scene that this piece was being requested for was a game’s "battle theme". I had to make this piece adaptable to any generic situation that may occur within the game, so I then thought to take "romantic" to mean more a time period than an action. It’s the same basic idea, but it’s the closest I could come with this piece.
